Lydia Saroglou BSc, Dip LCH, AMAC

I am a qualified and insured Life Coach based in Oxford.  I hold a Certificate and Diploma in Life Coaching and I am an Associate Member of the Association for Coaching.   I am currently in the process of becoming a Public Health Nutritionist.

After graduating in 1992 with a degree in Chemistry and Management, I worked as a Research Scientist in a number of companies in the pharmaceutical industry.  I enjoyed the innovation and problem solving aspects of my job as well as optimising processes through organisation and practical solutions.  I also enjoyed providing a service to research groups and helping them reach their targets fast and effectively.  But most importantly, I enjoyed the interaction with people; meeting their needs and helping them overcome their challenges.  Working in such a competitive and volatile industry helped me gain valuable experience of the pressures of the workplace, such as working to deadlines and the effects of stress. It also gave me a good understanding of what makes people tick, and the importance of time and life balance.

After spending almost 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry I decided to use my personal strengths in a wider setting and help people move forward as a whole in their lives.  I decided to train as a Life Coach and I now hold a Certificate and a Diploma in Life Coaching.  It is a great joy and privilege to be working with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds and stages in life and help them achieve their goals and dreams.

Alongside my career in research, I have always maintained a keen interest in nutrition and the improvement of health.  I am currently in the process of becoming a Public Health Nutritionist, aiming to help people in this role in the future.
