Life Coaching

Coaching is a powerful and simple way of empowering people to make changes to their lives and lifestyle.

Coaching sessions are weekly 60 minute telephone sessions which can also take place one-to-one when clients are local.  Most coaching sessions occur over the phone, supported by unlimited e-mail communication.

In life coaching, an experienced and dedicated professional focuses all his/her energy on helping you to achieve your aims.  A coach can work with clients from any part of the U.K. or the world, all that is needed is a phone!

Life Coaching is about getting rapid, lasting results, now.

A coach is not the same as a counselor or psychotherapist.  Coaches will focus on your present and future and not dwell on your past.

Coaches help people to achieve aims in many different areas of their lives as shown on the diagram below.

Your coach will have different skills, background and life experiences to yours and will be able to provide additional perspectives and catalytic input that can help move you forward and be positive and effective.

A coach will ask key questions to establish what works well for you and what issues are holding you back.  Each person is unique and only they know which solutions work best for them.  Coaches do not tell clients what to do; they guide them to find the solutions that are best suited to them.

By observation, listening and questioning, life coaches explore with clients their situation, values and beliefs. They work with clients to find ways in which they might achieve their aims and help them to set appropriate goals.

Coaches help their clients draw action plans and track progress towards their goals.  Coaches also guide their clients to decide on what actions they need to take in the present to accomplish their goals/dreams in the future.
